Riccardo Agostini, Alessio Rovera and Alexander Moiseev (Mercedes AMG GT3) will start the race of the 2nd round of the Italian GT Championship Endurance Series at the Misano World Circuit from the pole position. The third session defined the pecking order in a session that was characterized by dry conditions early on and by a lot of rain in the closing stages, which affected the performance of some drivers that took it to the track late. The best partial times went to Fisichella, Frassineti and Rovera, but the sum of the times at the end of the three sessions (4’53.424) rewarded Antonelli Motorsport with the pole position. The Lamborghini Huracan (VSRacing) of Kang-Tujula (4’53.494) and the BMW M6 GT3 (BMW Team Italia-Ceccato Motors Racing Team) of Comandini-Johansson-Sims (4’53.971) completed the top 3.

The fourth time handed the second row of the starting grid to Cazzaniga-Cazzaniga-Pirri (Lamborghini Huracan), that led the Lamborghini Huracan (Imperiale Racing) of Postiglione-Mul-Frassineti and the Ferrari 488 Evo of Mancinelli-Cioci-Veglia (Easy Race). The fourth row of the grid will be occupied by Weerts-Nato (Audi R8 LMS-Audi Sport Italia), that will find the second Huracan of Imperiale Racing driven by Perolini-Gersekowski-Zonzini next to them, while the fifth row of the grid will see Colombo-Linossi-Palma (Mercedes AMG GT3-Antonelli Motorsport) and Mann-Cressoni-Nilesen (Ferrari 488 Evo-AF Corse). Fisichella-Gai-Villeneuve (Ferrari 488 Evo-Scuderia Baldini) and Di Amato-Vezzoni (Ferrari 488 Evo-RS Racing) will complete the sixth row of the grid.

The time 5’07.159 posted by Paolino-Mantovani-Demarchi earned them the seventh row of the grid and the first position of GT Light on the Lamborghini Huracan run by Iron Lynx. They will lead the sister car of Antonelli Motorsport driven by Cristoni-Michelotto-Skaras, while La Mazza-Speakerwas-Carboni (Porsche 991-Duell Motorsport) and Gnemmi-Nera-Pera will start the race from the eighth row, as the latter where the first of GT4 on the Porsche Cayman 718 run by Ebimotors in 5’21.631.

The three hours long race will get underway tomorrow, Sunday, at 15,40 and will go live on AutomotoTV (SKY 228) and in live streaming at www.raiplay.it, www.acisport.it/CIGT and on the facebook page of the championship www.facebook.com/CIGranTurismo, while Raisport will show the event recorded on Monday, May 20th, at 17.10.
