The disappointment for the missed victory in Endurance behind the back, classification leaders Vito Postiglione and Jeroen Mul (Lamborghini Huracan-Imperiale Racing) are heading to Monza as the favourites thanks to the 12 points they are clear of the closest rivals, Riccardo Agostini and Alessio Rovera (Mercedes AMG GT3). Two points behind Antonelli Motorsport’s pairing are Comandini-Johansson (BMW M6 GT3-BMW Team Italia), that also come from the unlucky weekend in Mugello and for the occasion, they will find a second BMW M6 GT3 on their side, that is the one ran by MRS-GT Racing for the German Marius Zug and Gabriele Piana.

The title contenders include also Antonio Fuoco and Singapore’s Sean Hudspeth (Ferrari 488), that stand fourth 27 points short of the lead but have been psyched up by the great performance put in by the 23 years old driver of Ferrari Driver Academy that allowed Stefano Gai to win the Endurance title in Mugello. The AF Corse duo will also be fighting for the GT3 PRO-AM title as they lead the Ferrari 488 of Di Amato-Vezzoni (RS Racing). The Ferrari lot will be completed by the other two AF Corse’s lineups Mann-Cressoni and the rookie Ken Abe with Cristian Colombo. Lorenzo Veglia will close the season in the 488 ran by Easy Race with Fabrizio Crestani.

The second Mercedes AMG GT3 of Antonelli Motorsport will be driven by Nicola Baldan, while Audi Sport Italia will line up a R8 LMS lfor the new pairing made by the rookie Andrea Dromedari and Andrea Fontana, who will be hunting for the final P5.

The new GT4 Endurance champion Giuseppe Ghezzi and the Swiss Joel Camathisa will also partake in the fight in the Porsche Cayman of Autorlando. They are 26 points shy of the lead.

The Cayman lot will be completed by Cerati-Chiesa, Baruchelli-Bravetti (Autorlando) and Gianluigi Piccioli that will share the drive with a driver still to be decided (Ebimotors). In the Mercedes AMG GT4. Luca Magnoni (Nova Race), who made his debut in the Endurance series in Mugello, will share the drive with Enrico Garbelli and will have the sister-car driven by Marchetti-Mantori on his side.

The entry list of GT4 will be completed by the Maserati Gran Turismo of V-Action. It will be driven by Pajuranta-Rodriguez that come from the good performance in the Endurance series in Mugello.
