The driver from Brescia will partake in five out of the next seven races of the Italian Rally Championship, starting from the Rally 1000 Miglia, behind the wheel of a Peugeot 207 Super 2000 lined up by team Racing Lions.
"We have been following Stefano Albertini's career for several seasons now- declared ACI and CSAI's President Angelo Sticchi Damiani – who is one of the best talents of our breeding ground. CSAI has been close to the driver from Brescia last year too, supporting him also economically, and the driver paid us off by obtaining the second place in the championship, just one point short the winner, in one of the highest International series, the Intercontinental Rally Challenge. We are now ready to support him in this new experience in CIR with a car of category Super 2000. This is a big adventure that will allow him to compete against the best drivers of the Italian rally. Albertini's programme involves the participation in five of the remaining seven races of the Italian Rally Championship, starting from the next Rally 1000 Miglia, scheduled for 22 to 24 April on the home streets of the driver from Brescia.
