Alessandro Perico will be at the start of the 19th Rally Adriatico (18-19 May 2012), the third round of the Italian Rally Championship. The strong driver from Bergamo, will line up on a Peugeot 207 S2000 belonging to PA RACING, with his co-driver Fabrizio Carrara. The car is the same employed for the Rally of Ciocco, where Perico ended third, and for the Rally 1000 Miglia where he had to retire due to an incident during stage six when he was third absolute very close to the proceeding cars and well within the fight for the top step of the podium. A bitter tasting 1000 Miglia for the driver.
11/05/2012 – "At the 1000 Miglia I was going fast, and was fighting for the podium – said Perico – the incident has been more spectacular than serious and it forced me to the retirement; when you are at these levels and you drive close to the limit the error can be there, it is part of racing. Now I ahead to the Adriatico rally, sandy grounds are not my favorite but, this said, PA Racing will give me as always a car to the top of the evolution and I count on Pirelli tyres that never betrayed me. I will obviously run this race looking exclusively to the championship. I reach this race serene and calm, I hope I will have as much fun as I had at Ciocco and at 1000 Miglia and most of all I hope I will entertain fans, that despite the economic downturn and the difficult period, keep following with the usual passion the world of rally. I have a lot of respect for the fans of this sport, we all drivers have to show them spectacular races and make them have fun: they deserve it" .
In PA Racing all is set for the third round of CIR. Alessandro wants to be one of the protagonists of this race, well aware of the technical means, car and tyres that will be given to him by PA Racing and Pirelli.
