Gubbio 29 June 2012 - Paolo Andreucci and Anna Andreussi , Peugeot 207 Super 2000, ended on top the first, very tough, leg of the Città di Gubbio – 25th Rally San Crispino , race valid for the fifth round of the Italian Rally Championship and for the Rally Terra Trophy. The Tuscan works driver of Peugeot built his lead on the two stages of San Bartolomeo, 24 timed kms where he relegated his closest rival, Umberto Scandola on Skoda Fabia, 26’’ behind, that is virtually the whole advantage.
The driver from Verona navigated by Federico D’Amore ended today 26’’9 behind Andreucci, and lamented a sub-optimal setup on the dirt roads around Gubbio. Extraordinary was the third place obtained by Stefano Albertini on Peugeot 207 Super 2000. The young driver from Brescia is at the debut in this race and confirmed to deserve the support of CSAI, Pirelli and Peugeot that allow him to take part in some races of the CIR.
First in the Rally Terra Trophy and fourth absolute was Mauro Trentin on Peugeot 207 Super 2000. Good was also the first leg run by Matteo Gamba, Peugeot 207 Super 2000, who was also slowed down by thr fact of being the first to go through the stages today cleaning the line for the others.

As regarding the Production CIR, the Roman Max Rendina produced a good race and, despite being not very fit physically, he keeps on chasing the result on his Mitsubishi.

The Italian Rally Junior witnessed a good fight on top between the Finn Mikko Pajunen, Renault New Clio, that is keeping Simone Campedelli behind on Citroen Ds3 R3, who currently has a 18" gap. Michele Tassone, Renault New Clio, Fabrizio Andolfi, Renault New Clio and Giacomo Cunial, Citroen C2, follow. Andrea Nucita on Citronen C2, that is the current leader of the Junior championship, has more than 3’ gap to the lead as he was slowed down by a strong contact.
