Paolo Andreucci and Anna Andreussi, Peugeot, get the 31st Rally Costa Smeralda

The Tuscan driver and co-driver from Friuli, already winners of the drivers Italian title award Peugeot with the constructors title. Second place in the race for Scandola-D'Amore, on Skoda, third the young Stefano Albertini, Peugeot. Mauro Trentin, Peugeot, first in the Rally Terra Trophy.

Arzachena 16 November 2012 - Paolo Andreucci and Anna Andreussi, Peugeot 207 Super 2000, won the 31st Rally Costa Smeralda, the race organized by Great Events Sardinia, valid as last round of the Italian Rally Championship and Rally Terra Trophy. The Tuscan driver, already crowned Italian Champion for the seventh time, gave the fifth consecutive constructors title to Peugeot.
The second place went to Umberto Scandola and his co-driver Guido D'Amore, on the works Fabia Super 2000 belonging to Skoda Motorsport Italia. The driver from Verona lost contact with the leaders since day one and led today a regular race aiming to keep the second position which confirms the second position in the classification. The third place in the race went to Stefano Albertini, Peugeot Super 2000, Racing Lyons. The young driver from Brescia managed also to get the third position in the classification thanks to this result, which confirms him among the most important realities of the Italian rally world. This is the same reality on which ACI CSAI, Pirelli and Racing Lyons and an input as they economically supported Albertini's programme.

The Sardinia's race set also the last round of the Rally Terra Trophy. The highest score was obtained by Mauro Trentin on Peugeot 207 Super 2000, that was also fourth in the absolute classification. The driver from Veneto and his co.driver Alice De Marco, obtained yet another prestigious result at the end of an absolutely positive season. The fifth place and second in the TRT was obtained by Luigi Ricci, that also occupies the second place of the classification on the Subaru Impreza of R group. Ricci's performance had also the icing on the cake of the victory of a stage, the first in the CIR for a car belonging to group R. The sixth position went to the driver from Neaples Fabio Gianfico, who was the first of group N on his Mitsubishi both in the race and in the Rally Terra Trophy. His win got concrete also thanks to the retirement of Valter Pierangioli, due to some gearbox problems. Behind Gianfico ended Masino Orecchioni, Subaru, and Pablo Biolghini, Mitsubishi.
