13/12/2012 – The statement presented by S.A Motosport Italia Srl, representing Skoda, relative to the classification of the Italian Rally Constructors Championship has been rejected and the classification has therefore been homologated with the title awarded to Peugeot Italia.

ITALIAN RALLY 2013 CHAMPIONSHIP

A ballast will be present on Super 2000 cars powered by 1.6 turbo charged engines (RRC) in the non-FIA races of CIR.

The points scoring system of CIR, as for the other rally series, will follow the table: 15 points to the winner and then the other positions down to the tenth will be awarded with 12, 10, 8, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1 points respectively.

The whole course will have to be guarded by Stewards.

The points scoring mechanism will not follow the current categories but rather the following grouping: NO/N1/N2 - N3 - N4 - A0/A5/A6 - Super 1600/A7 - R1A/R1B - R2B/R2C - R3C /R3T/R3D - Super 2000 2.0 Atmosferic and 1.6 Turbo, R4 - Racing Start.

Consequently, it has been proposed to eliminate the absolute classification following the race general classification.
