The Italian Formula 4 Championship at the starting blocks

The 2014 calendar of the new formula reserved to very young drivers has been unveiled. ACI President Angelo Sticchi Damiani "We feel all the pressure of being the first in the world to open the way to this new series born to discover new talents in motor sport”.

Automobile Club of Italy is in front line to implement the new FIA strategy for finding the champions of the future. This sentence can summarize well the big project of the Italian F4 Championship that will officially open the series from 2014 and will be a real test bench for drivers that coming from karting want do the big leap to Formula cars.

Italy and the Federation will be the front runners in this project and that is not by chance as they have been ready to organize the series.

"We feel all the pressure - said Angelo Sticchi Damiani - of being the first in the world to implement a very important project open to the future. This project is part of the initiative "Road from karting to Formula One" that delineated a path from karting to the highest series, through Formula 4, Formula 3 and Formula 2. Obviously the encouragement and supported of FIA and his President Todt to our reading of the whole operation confirms the high regard the FIA has towards ACI and the always increasing weight of our Federation in the international motor-sport".
