Waiting for race-2 – Comments from Adria's paddock

Stroll hopeful despite fifth row start.

Lance Stroll is already projected to the second race of the weekend, in which drivers will get away with top 10 grid inversion. "Things will be getting tough in race-2, when I will start from the fifth row. My intention is still to claim the win but realistically I have to admit that it is not going to be easy to pass talented drivers like the ones we have on track today in Adria. I would concretely think about a podium finish though”

The Russian Ivan Matveev (SMP Racing by Euronova), tenth in race-1, will start race-2 from the pole position. The Brazilian Gustavo Bandeira (DAV Racing) will line up alongside him. The second row will be occupied by Leonardo Pulcini (Euronova Racing), that is ready to counter-charge after the eighth place in race one, together with the Swiss Alan Valente (Jenzer Motorsport). Mattia Drudi (Adria Raceway by Cram) is another driver that will be trying to counter-charge from the third row, with Ukyo Sasahara (Euronova Racing) right behind him, that showed a great shape this morning. Matteo Cairoli (Antonelli Motorsport) and Andrea Russo (Diegi Motorsport), will be called to a great comeback race as they will both start from row four, followed by the French Brandon Maisano and the Canadian Lance Stroll (both fielded by Prema Power Team).
Race-2 start set for 12.45hrs local time, live coverage on Rai Sport 2 and live streaming available at www.acisportitalia.it, www.f4championship.com and www.sportube.it.
