The second round of the Italian F.4 Championship powered by Abarth is all set to start, with 22 international drivers making it to the track for three free practice sessions at the circuit Enzo e Dino Ferrari of Imola. The novelty of the Championship and of the brand new T014 Tatuus single seaters have had a positive result in the quality of the races run in the first round three weeks ago in Adria. The classification has just been drafted with the initial points collected by drivers and the first lot of potential title contenders showed themselves even if a lot more drivers can still have a say in the title hunt.

The Milanese Andrea Russo (Diegi Motorsport) is currently leading the pack at 53 points, while the Canadian Lance Stroll (Prema Power Team) follows him closely just two points short, and Rome's Leonardo Pulcini (Euronova Racing) is in third with 30 points under his belt. The weekend of Adria proved anyway that a lot of drivers are very close and all up there ready to claim victories. In the Italian F.4 Trophy powered by Abarth – devoted to over-18 drivers – sees the French driver Brandon Maisano (Prema Power team) on top at 63 points, followed by the twenty-years-old from Malta Keith Camilleri (Malta Formula Racing) at 44 and by the Bahrain's driver Ali Al Khalifa (Jenzer Motorsport) at 42.
The await is mounting to know the developments in terms of classification but also to know the best interpreters of sheer speed: as regarding the charts, 5 additional will be awarded for the quickest time in qualifying and one for the fastest lap of each of the three races but also the F.4 Pole Position Prize by WSK Promotion will be awarded – in the hospitality of WSK promoter – to the two polemen.
