More than eight seconds of advantage from the follower, fast laps one after the other, Ralf Aron has no rivals in race 1 at Mugello. At the start Prema driver starts from pole and keeps first position.

David Beckmann (Muecke Motorsport), second on the grid, does not manage to overtake Aron, and is instead overtaken by Joao Vieira (Antonelli Motorsport), who gains second position until the end of the race, after starting fourth on the grid.

Fourth at the end of the race is Giuliano Raucci (Prema Power Team), who has finally managed to make a good consistent race. Fifth is Mauricio Baiz (Vincenzo Sospiri Racing), in front of an undertone Guan Yu Zhou (Prema Power Team).

In the Woman Trophy Wiktoria Pankiewicz, back after the big accident in Imola, arrives in front of her twin sister Julia (both RB Racing).
