Enzo Fittipaldi (Prema Theodore Racing) continues his positive moment after full points in Misano and sets best lap time in free practice 1 in Imola. Just behind him, though, his number 1 opponent, Leonardo Lorandi (Bhai Tech Racing) only 81 thousands of a second away. Apart from specific tyre conditions of each car, in the 40 minutes of free practice almost all drivers have been able to show already their strength thanks to testing done here in Imola a couple of weeks ago.  

 

Good performance also by another Prema driver, the British Olli Caldwell, third with 0.099 delay from Fittipaldi and also third overall in the championship. Behind him Federico Malvestiti (Jenzer Motorsport) at 0.156, while fifth at 0.208 is Petr Patcek (Bhai Tech Racing), fourth in the championship and definitely first in the Rookie Trophy.  

As note of free practice 1, 6 minutes from the end of the session n7 Axel Gnos (AS Motorsport) has gone out of track in the gravel and yellow flag has been present for one minute.
