At the last appointment of the 22018 Italian F4 Championship Powered by Abarth the entry list sees around 30 drivers present, ready to battle for the title, but also for third place of Rookie Trophy, still available, after Petr Ptacek (Bhai tech Racing) and Gianluca Petecof (Prema Theodore Racing) have conquered first and second position at the end of Vallelunga weekend.

Growth of participants from 2017 to 2018 has been excellent, with an average of 22.3 drivers registered per race in 2017 against 28.9 in 2018, so more than 6 drivers increase on average every ACI Racing Weekend.

A growth and success that have been determined by organization and promotion of ACI Sport and WSK Promotion, the same “actors” that have obtained the approval by FIA for next year “Formula 3 European Regional”, with 17 votes out of 20 against the proposal by Renault and the French Federation (FFSA). Success has evidently also, but not only, come from the clear success of the Italian F4 Championship Powered by Abarth.

The new Formula 3 European Regional is the natural and perfect step, after F4, towards F1.
