The third round of the Italian F.4 Championship Powered by Abarth Certified by FIA starts with 29 drivers enclosed in less than a second. In the 8 hours of collective tests on the Vallelunga circuit, Jonas Ried sets the best time, during the morning session, but it is the extreme competitiveness that is the real protagonist with 29 drivers out of 32 detached by a few cents from each other. Behind the German of BWT Muecke Motorsport, at only 0.091 seconds, his teammate Joshua Durksen, also with the best performance scored on a "cooler" track in the early morning. Third time for the championship leader Oliver Bearman (Van Amersfoort Racing), 0.010 seconds from Ried's best time. The Briton driver scored his best performance in the afternoon with an asphalt temperature around 50 degrees and the air temperature exceeding 30 degrees. 0.012 seconds gap for the Hungarian Bence Valint, Bearman's teammate in the Dutch team, who preceded AS Motorsport driver’s, Kacper Sztuka, second rookie behind Ried.

Many drivers passed the 100 laps of the Roman circuit of Vallelunga, driving many kilometers in order to get ready for the weekend that will begin tomorrow with free practice at 9.00 a.m. and 11.00 a.m. and qualifying which will start at 3.00 p.m. Impressive work done by US Racing drivers Vlad Lomko and Tim Tramnitz, with 137 and 139 laps completed. The German, two-time winner of the Paul Ricard, covered 567 kilometers during the day, putting the Abarth-powered Tatuus to the test.

With such small gaps, a high-tension weekend is expected.
