Kimi Andrea Antonelli is the fastest in the free practice session at the Mugello circuit

The fifteen years old driving for Prema scored the best time on the Tuscany track in front of Dufek and Bedrin

The rookie, at his second outing of the season, imposed himself in the second free practice session with the best time of the day on the Mugello international track, putting behind the Van Amersfoort couple with Joshua Dufek ahead of Nikita Bedrin. This is how the penultimate round of the Italian F.4 Championship Powered by Abarth Certified by FIA started, with 30 single-seaters on track.

The uncertain weather conditions and the low temperatures did not intimidate the young drivers of the ACI Sport propaedeutic series. In the first free practice session, the best time was set by Joshua Dufek (Van Amersfoort Racing) who managed to beat his teammate, Oliver Bearman, by 0.21 seconds. Third best time for Tim Tramnitz (US Racing), followed by Sebastian Montoya (Prema Powerteam) and Kimi Antonelli (Prema Powerteam).

At the end of the second free practice session there are 15 drivers enclosed in less than a second, with Antonelli stopping the clock at 1'46.673, thus obtaining the best time of the day. The leader of the standings, Oliver Bearman (Van Amersfoort Racing) scored the sixth best time, preceded by Leonardo Fornaroli (Iron Lynx) and Joshua Durksen (Muecke Motorsport). Behind him, Kiril Smal (Prema Powerteam) and Tim Tramnitz (US Racing).
