Today marks the start of the final phase of preparation for the Italian round of the FIA World Rally Championship, organized by the Automobile Club d'Italia with support of the Regione Sardegna.

The inaugural evening will occur tomorrow, Friday 16th, featuring the “Premio Nino Vaccarella” and the Best of Regional Motorsport with international guests and exclusive surprises. On Saturday 17th, winners of the national titles in four-wheel racing will be celebrated. Among the attendees are Fisichella, Minardi, Minì, Faggioli, rally driver Crugnola, and representatives from Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Suzuki, and Toyota. The event will be live-streamed on ACI Sport TV.

The 21st edition of the race will be an event featuring 16 special stages and 266 competitive kilometers to be covered in just 48 hours. The location of the event, organized by the Automobile Club d'Italia in partnership with the Regione Sardegna, returns to Alghero this year.

The two young rally drivers supported by the Federation will compete under the colors of the National Team in the Finnish Rally Championship 2024. The first challenge for both of them will be this weekend at the Rihimäki Rally on January 12-13.
