All the members – except those with racing commitments abroad – selected for Aci Team Italia, the national team of the best talents of international rally, were present. At the end of three intense days, all the drivers have been very satisfied by the first meeting of this project. This program allows young and very young rally drivers to get access to specific funding to improve their professionalism. Being part of ACI TEAM ITALIA allowed the selected drivers to partake in a selective path of professional growth that, alongside the event that took part in the past few days, will include other testing sessions at the Federal School.

Another important chance for these youngsters is the possibility to take part in the recce of some very important international races.
This first meeting has focused on a precise writing of notes, on long sessions on board a Peugeot 208 R2 and on some psycho-physical tests.

"ACI Team Italia is the start of a new era in Italian Rally" Paolo Andreucci said. "These are all young talents selected by ACI that will surely get very good results on the international scene. I reckon this is a 360° training programme that prepares the youngsters to driving, co-driving, but also gives physical and psychological training and most importantly helps with media relationships. The hope is to take some of these young talents to the highest levels of the World Rally Championship in a few years time."
