19th Rally of Adriatico. Subscriptions open.

Cingoli ( MC) – A lot of spectacle is to be foreseen in the third round of the Italian Rally Championship and in the second of the Rally Terra Trophy that will take place in Cingoli (Macerata) next 18 and 19 May.

The event organizer, PRS Group, during this intense period of subscriptions, is preparing a stage full of top class protagonists, such as the man to be beaten, Paolo Andreucci, who will be at the wheel of his Peugeot 207 S2000 that is leading the provisional classification after the rally 1000Miglia held in Brescia
Among his closest rivals, Umberto Scandola on his works Skoda Fabia S2000, Alessandro Perico, on Peugeot 207 S2000 and Matteo Gamba that already won the Terra Trophy in group N in 2006. Then the winner of the Rally 1000 Miglia, Giandomenico Basso, Marco Signor on Skoda Fabia; a special eye will have to be put on the young driver from Brescia Stefano Albertini, new promise born from the agreement involving Peugeot, ACI CSAI, Pirelli and Racing Lions.

Spectacle will also be added by the race run by the Under 28, where Simone Campedelli, works driver for Citroen on DS3 R3 is second in the classification after the round of Brescia that witnessed the victory of the Renault Twingo Evo driven by Fabrizio Andolfi, but will try all he can to challenge his rivals such ase Andrea Nucita on Citroen C2 and Andrea Carella on his Renault Twingo.

To be followed will also be Eddie Sciessere on Renault Clio S160, who is fighting for the “Independents” classification and one of the main motifs, as highlighted on the opening races, will be the challenge with the protagonists of the Terra Trophy that have already managed to get on top positions of the classification.

The racing programme schedules ten Stages in Cingoli nearbies featuring also some new roads. The timed kilometers will be 121 out of a total of 501,6 and will be split in two legs. After reconnaissance scheduled for Thursday 17 May only, the shakedown of racing cars will be held the following day, Friday 18 May, from 8.00 to 13.00 (GMT+2),
and will be divided in two heats (priority the first two hours for the starting order) and the first stage will follow in the afternoon.
At 15.41, the start will be given from Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II in Cingoli and the first four stages (two different stages to be repeated twice) are scheduled to end at 21.30. At the end of the first leg, cars will enter the nigh regrouping starting from 21.30 and the challenge will continue on Saturday 19 May.
The cars will leave park fermè at 9.01 and will compete on six Stages (two different to be run three times) with the arrive set for 19.20 in Cingoli at Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II.
