SALUDECIO (Rimini) – The 20th anniversary celebratory Rally of Adriatico, scheduled this year from 17 to 18 May, places its roots into the territory, embracing it as Organizers decided to contribute to the territory by means of the sporting event that will take on the different sites touched by the race a huge amount of fans.

Image and land promotion are the cornerstones of the twentieth edition of this race, that has become one of the national landmarks in terms of dirt-roads racing and a very important moment of the Italian Rally Championship.

PRS Group, Organizers, in synergy with local councils, devised an enlarged version of the race embracing a more wide portion of the stunning territory that is its traditional stage. Following indications coming from the Federation aimed at boosting the image return of road-races, this year's edition will touch the two provinces of Ancona and Macerata. New settings for the starting ceremony, to take place in Osimo (Ancona), in Piazza del Comune square while the first stage will also take place in Osimo in the industrial area. The rally will afterwards unfold through the traditional places all the way to the chequered flag that will welcome drives in Cingoli, the location that in the past few seasons provided a really functional logistic (headquarters of the race will be placed there too) and an exceptional reception. The town of Jesi will house Service Park. The 20th Rally of Adriatico will therefore create a rally "twinning” among the three towns that will be unite in this occasion to add value to the places touched by the race.

As happened last year, this year the race will triple too: in fact this is going to be the third round of the Italian Rally Championship but it will also have validity for the Earth Rally Trophy and for the Italian Cross Country Championship. Moreover, the race will be valid for the Zone Challenge as well as for the ERMS Championship (i.e. EmiliaRomagna Marche and St. Marin).
