Tomorrow - Friday 12 April – the race will set off from Brescia for a late afternoon short prologue including also a stage, the one at the circuit of Franciacorta. A small apetizer to what will happen on Saturday and Sunday, the two racing days that will be decisive for the win.

Despite being only the second round of the Tricolored-Championship, due to the presence of all the main protagonists of the season opener, the climate will be hot with counter-charges and duels that can possibly start shaping up the absolute classification as well as that of the several categories racing in the occasion.
Among the 67 entrants, all the best lineups of the Italian series will hunt for points in the absolute classification, in the Production, in the Rally Junior and in the main single brand trophies.

As regarding the challenge for the absolute tittle, the duel between Giandomenico Basso on the Peugeot 207 Super 2000 by Power Car Team and the other two protagonists of the season opener – Alessandro Perico, on the Peugeot 207/PA Racing and Umberto Scandola on the works Skoda Fabia – will get renewed on the streets of the 1000 Miglia. The local hero Stefano Albertini, on a Peugeot 207 Super 2000 lined up by Racing Lions will certainly try and place himself among the contenders of the final victory of this round.
The seven times Italian Champion Paolo Andreucci and Elwis Chentre, both on Peugeot 208 R2will certainly be among the big names that will enliven the race. It will certainly be worth to keep an eye on the duel between the Tuscan driver, stunning on the streets of "his” rally Il Ciocco and the driver from Val d'Aosta.

The Italian Production Championship will see the renewed duel between the Renault Clio R3 and the Citroen Ds3 R3 which will involve Alessandro Bosca, Renault, Andrea Nucita, Citroen, Rudy Michelini and Gabriele Tognozzi.
In the Italian Rally Junior Championship, Andrea Carella, Renault Twingo, will have to fight mainly against Fabrizio Andolfi Jr and Andrea Crugnola, both on Renault, and Giacomo Cunial, Citroen C2 R2 Max.
The Production and Junior championships and the two wheeled cars championship will be bond to the outcome of the single-brand trophies. Four trophies will take place in Brescia: the Renault Clio, il Twingo TOP, the Citroen Racing Trophy and the Suzuki Rally Cup

The racing programme follows: Friday 12 April, start at 18.30 (GMT+1), Stage one Autodromo "Daniel Bonara" of Franciacorta at 19.15. Leg 1 will start on Saturday 13 April at 8.30 with finish line starting from 20.15: six stages in the schedule, 3 to be repeated twice – the challenging Irma (17.81 km) , Pertiche ( 26.56 km) and Moerna (14.02 km). Leg 2 will start instead at 8.00 on Sunday and will reach its end at 13.00: lineups will not head back to Brescia in between the two stages of "Cavallino" ( 14.52 km).

TV and streaming coverage of the race devised by AciSport will be quite intensive. Rai Sport 2 will have two important moments dedicated to the race. The first on Saturday night at 00.30 with the highlights of leg 1. The second with the live coverage on Sunday at 13.00 from Brescia's finish line.
The live streaming will feature three appointments. The first on Friday at 19.30 from the Piazzale Arnaldo in Brescia with the lineups coming from the first stage. The second on Saturday at the regrouping around 13.15 with live interviews. The third one will be from Piazza Arnaldo in Brescia at the end of leg 1 around 19.15 on Saturday. The live streaming will be available on www.acisportitalia.it The website will also house several pictures of the most significant moments of the race.
