Targa Florio Classica 2022 is ready to start

The Leg 1 will be starting on Friday morning, 14th October, at 8:30. The crews will drive until the Pergusa Circuit through Termini-Cacamo and Coppa Nissena track and then will come back through Cerda and Floriopoli. Palermo, 13th October 2022 - Green light for Targa Florio Classica 2022: tomorrow (Friday, 14th October) Leg 1 will be starting in the morning at 8:30. Ready to start at the last round of Campionato Italiano Grandi Eventi also the super cars from Maranello, which will compete for the Ferrari Tribute to Targa Florio.

Toine Hezemans will also race in Targa Florio Classica: the Dutch driver who won with the great Nino Vaccarella the 1971 edition in an Alfa 33. The competitors will then go towards the center of Sicily through the towns of Roccapalumba, Alia, Vallelunga Pratameno, then Marianopoli and then reach Caltanissetta. Cars and crews will arrive mid-day at the Pergusa Circuit. The 5 km on Lake Proserpina where great pages of motorsport have been written and which prepared an exclusive welcome for the Targa Florio Classica. The crews will make a few laps on the track before the lunch break that will be inside the structure. The Chairman of the Consorzio Ente Autodromo Pergusa Mario Sgrò will welcome the prestigious cars. The return path starts from Calasbibetta at 14.21, then Villarosa and Resuttano to continue on the Madonie mountains towards Caltavuturo and then to Cerda, two iconic names of Targa Florio, before arriving at the Tribune di Floriopoli at 16.30, where it will be exhibited the Targa won by Achille Varzi on an Alfa in 1934. The competitors will return to Palermo for the end of the leg.
