Rome, July 18, 2022. The Italian ACI Karting Championship continues to score record figures. After the 335 drivers in Franciacorta and the 246 in Ugento, 280 drivers already filed their applications for the third round that will take place at the International Circuit 7 Laghi Kart of Castelletto di Branduzzo (Pavia) next July 21-24.

These important numbers confirm the good level of competition in the events of the Italian Championship and the growing interest of teams and drivers in the national karting promoted by ACI Sport. In Castelletto the categories of the youngest drivers are still quite crowded, as around 110 drivers will contest 60 Minikart and MINI Gr.3. The most powerful category, KZ2, will count a good number of 40 drivers, among which Riccardo Longhi, team manager and Birel ART works driver. The two Iame X30 categories are also packed as Junior counts 57 drivers, and Senior 58, while Rok counts about 15 drivers at the start.

The Italian Championship will continue on August 28 at the International Circuit Napoli in Sarno (Salerno) with the fourth round of the KZ2, MINI Gr.3, 60 Mini, X30 Junior and Senior campaign, while OK and OK-Junior will contest the unique round valid for the Italian title.
