The second and last race of the ACI Racing Weekend Sicilia is Davide Uboldi's triumph, spectacularly overtaking on the last turn on Giacomo Pollini. The Brescian is on another pace, as also in race 1 he also gets the point at stake for the fastest lap, but Uboldi has the experience to beat the opponent and he does it in a masterful way. Big celebration this evening in Enna: third place for the home driver, Alessio Salvaggio, who also takes the win in the Under 25 class.

P4 for Lucas Medina followed by Filippo Lazzaroni.
Ettore Bassi wins in the Master classification and takes sixth place overall. "Progressing one step at a time in this beautiful, technical and very difficult racetrack. I have to be careful and try to do better, lap after lap." He had declared on the grid and stuck to his word, improving on the already good result of race 1. P7 for rookie Andrea Di Caro, who this time brings home points in the top 10 overall. Eighth was Colombian driver, Molina, followed by fellow Colombian driver Mejia. Linus Hellberg closes the top 10. Just outside the top 10 is  'Torosaki', Giancarmine Spadaro, who started from the pennultimate row and finished in P11.

Not in the list one of the main contender, Matteo Roccadelli, who goes off the road; deja vous from race 1 for Jolan Raccamier who stops at the edge of the straight. Problems again for Erik Stilmann who also misses race 2. The Swede tries to get on track, but he leaks oil copiously during the formation lap and is forced to pit in while the track is cleaned before the start.

The race
A late start to allow for safety restoring operations, and behind safety car, which seems to cause some initial confusion among the drivers.

Hellberg takes the lead over Salvaggio and Uboldi, then Salvaggio takes first again. Again Hellberg regains the position on the young driver from Enna, but Uboldi starts on the attack and overtakes both.

A dynamic, very entertaining race full of exchanges in the lead. Giacomo Pollini from the back makes his way through and gets P3.

Pollini insists and gains P1 over Uboldi, meanwhile in P3 his cousin Matteo makes his way through.
Then the stop of Raccamier's car and it is full course yellow, then safety car out on the track.

At the restart, the greatly experienced  driver Davide Uboldi steals P1 with a great move before the last turn, with cousins Pollini ending up behind. The teammates get into each other's trajectory, with Matteo Pollini getting the worst of it and the car goes into a spin, then gets touched behind.
Salvaggio finishes third, with Medina fourth, moving up several positions. At the end arrives the stop for both Mosca and Baiguera, due to mechanical reasons. The race ends with standings frozen under full course yellow.

With the time in qualifying, the win in race 1, the second place in the second race and the fastest lap twice, Giacomo Pollini is the first Championship leader with 38 pts., +6 from Uboldi.
