There were 18 Wolf GB08 Thunder that took to the track during the tests at Vallelunga, before the 3rd round that will officially start this weekend with free practice. On this occasion it was Davide Uboldi from Como who set the best lap of the day, stopping the clock at 1'33.714 in the second session, after having set the best lap also in the morning.

He was followed by Filippo Lazzaroni, +0.345, and Matteo Roccadelli, +0.790. Among the drivers ready to leave their mark in the third round of Campionato Italiano Sport Prototipi, who did not, however, take to the track for the four-hour test, was Giacomo Pollini. His cousin Matteo instead only took part in the afternoon session, setting the 4th best time of the day (+0.912), the last of the drivers to stay within a second of the gap.

5th best lap was set by Swedish Erik Stillman, followed by Italian driver Alessio Salvaggio. It was precisely the Ennese driver, after celebrating on the podium at the season opener at his home circuit in Pergusa, who managed to remain very consistent in his results and took the lead in the Under 25 standings.  However, the fast Colombian driver did not take to the track at the test.

7th best time went to Swede Emil Hellberg, who was the driver who stayed on track the longest, managing to complete an impressive 87 laps. The day's top 10 was completed by Andrea Mosca, current leader of the Master classification, David Acosta Molina and Simon Hulten.

Saturday 2 July starts in the morning with free practice (9.00-9.25), with a second session a few hours later (12.10-12.35). Already on Saturday evening qualifying, in a single session, from 17.30 to 17.55, which will award the first point of the weekend to the driver who set the fastest lap.

Double race on Sunday 3 July: race 1 will start at 10.20, 25' + 1 lap, while the second race of the Italian Championship will bring the curtain down on the ACI Racing Weekend at Vallelunga, with the Wolf ready to start from the grid at 16.20 (25' + 1 lap).

The 2 race sessions will be live streamed on the facebook and youtube channels of @cisprototipi
