The first session of the day is over at Vallelunga. Opening the Saturday of the ACI Racing Weekend at the Piero Taruffi circuit were the Wolf GB08 Thunder of Campionato Italiano Sport Prototipi. Some of the drivers of the Championship had already had the opportunity yesterday to take to the track for a "first contact" with the collective tests for a total lenght of 4 hours. On this occasion Davide Uboldi was the fastest and, on Saturday, nothing change. Again the driver from Como set the time with a best lap of 1'33.791.

Second in the session, after an exchange of fast laps with the session leader, is Filippo Lazzaroni, who does not miss the chronometric record by much (+0.078). Then Matteo Roccadelli, the winner of the last race, ready to get back on the right foot, set a gap of +0.109.

Fourth best lap to Giacomo Pollini (+0.241), the Championship leader, who had not taken to the track yesterday for testing and today will have to quickly adapt to the conditions, looking for the qualifying session this evening. P5 and P6 to two Swedish drivers: Erik Stilmann and Linus Hellberg (+0.513 and +0.604 respectively), who precede Matteo Pollini (+0.604).

8th is the Sicilian Alessio Salvaggio (+0.793), who in the absence of his most direct rival, Lucas Medina, can seize the opportunity to enrich the gap in the Under 25 standings, as well as to go for the overall podium, as already done in Pergusa at the first round of the CISP 2022. Still in Sweden for ninth place, that went to Emil Hellberg (+1.268), while closing out the top 10 in the first free practice session was Colombian Santiago Mejia (+1.268).

One more free practice session today, at 12.10, before qualifying this evening at 17.30. The two races will take place on Sunday 3 July, 25 minutes plus one lap, starting at 10.20 and 16.20. It will be possible to follow the two races live on the facebook and youtube channels of the @cisprototipi
