Jesse Menczer returns in the cockpit of the Wolf GB08 Thunder in the Italian Sport Prototypes Championship. The 2023 season will again see the Anglo-American driver compete in the ACI Sport series, racing on a Wolf Racing Cars, ready to offer a great show.

Menczer's is certainly a well known name for the Sport Prototypes series. His  first assault to the Italian Title was in 2018, in the first year of the new format that transformed the Championship into the current one-make series with the Wolf GB08 Thunder. Right from the start, the Anglo-American was able to distinguish himself for his aggressiveness on the track, which, together with his undoubted sprinting skills, earned him the nickname "the Pirate" from his opponents. His vehement approach to the competition and his great ability to drive the Wolf "pedal to the metal" are traits that, in a special way, have remained engraved in the history of the Championship. The ACI Sport series has in fact among its strengths the propaedeutic value and the cultivation of the talent of young drivers who, often, choose the Wolf GB08 Thunder to debut in the world of car racing. Very important therefore becomes in this context the support for growth and training, in this sense, the data acquisition of Jesse Menczer in the double race of Mugello in 2018 became a valuable training tool to show how fast turns such as Casanova and Savelli, Arrabbiata 1 and 2 should be faced at full power.

The Pirate then returned to compete in the Italian Sport Prototypes Championship in 2019, still managing to improve, finishing in the top 10 with a ninth-place, also obtaining twice to celebrate on the overall podium, taking third place in race 1 at Vallelunga and then replicating the result again in race 1 at Misano.

The year 2023 marks Menczer's return and gives a major player to the battle for the Title, which once again promises to be exciting and spectacular. It is therefore official: the Pirate is back.
