Malaysian driver Alister Yoong will take part in the 2023 edition of the Italian Sport Prototypes Championship, thus providing further evidence of the high visibility in the international scene achieved by the ACI Sport series on Wolf Racing Cars, in the sixth year of the successful union that began in 2018.

The driver, despite his young age, already cumutaled many important experiences, ranging from Formula 4 to eSports. He took part in 2018 and 2019 Formula 4 in Southeast Asia, managing to score 2 victories, then again double success with Caterham Malaysia. The 20-year-old is then no stranger to Wolf GB08 Thunder either. In fact, with the very fast car from Wolf Racing Cars, under the technical guidance of Michele Fattorini, he brought home several victories in the Indian Racing League Championship, which ended in December last year.

Eyes will therefore be to be kept on Alister Yoong in the spectacle of the struggle at the top in the 2023 season. His commitment to the track carries on a glorious family tradition: in fact, the young Malaysian driver inherited a passion for motorsport from his father Alex, who raced in Formula 1 with Minardi, taking the start in 14 Grand Prix between 2001 and 2002, and finishing seventh at the 2002 Australian Grand Prix as his best result.

Alister Yoong: "I'm excited to race in the Campionato Italiano Sport Prototipi, it's my first year in Europe and I'm looking forward to working with Wolf Racing Cars to try and fight for the Championship after winning with Wolf GB08 Thunder in the Indian Racing League."
