Another name gets added to the Campionato Italiano Sport Prototipi entry list. Sergio Farris will be at the start of the series by ACI Sport from the second round in Pergusa between the 20th and the 21st of May.

Farris is the youngest of a “racing family” as his father is also a racing driver, who actually won three championships, both on track and in uphill racing. Farris jr will be competing also in the CIVM, debuting this weekend in Alghero.

Born in 1986, Sergio started his career in 2005 in slalom racing, moving to uphill racing and rallies during the following years. The step to track racing will be certainly a challenge, but it’s the same move that also Michele Fattorini made two years ago successfully, jumping on the overall podium in Monza in 2020 after racing for the very first time with the Wolf Thunder GB08.

Sergio Farris Jr: “Let’s start this new challenge with Wolf Racing Cars. Michele Fattorini, working with the Bellarosa family for years now, was my guide in this choice. Our plan was actually starting with the CIVM Junior, and we will work on that for 2024. Still, we couldn’t miss the round in Alghero, my home race, entitled to my dad, so we decided to do it with the ‘little’ Wolf, which is already performing well in other hillclimbs and tracks in Europe. I can’t wait to make my debut in the Campionato Italiano Sport Prototipi, even if I’ll have to skip the Imola round due to concurrent commitments”.
