Matteo Roccadelli takes the first pole position of the 2023 season in the CISP. The reigning champion of the Under 25 standings climbed to the top of the standings in the first qualifying of the year, recording a time of 1:45.349, ahead of the returning Danny Molinaro by 299 thousandths. The 2021 champion came to the championship with the declared aim on defending the crown he had to lay down last year, but in the race he will face high competition. The session was stopped with eight minutes to go when a car went out on the gravel.

The second row of the grid is full-international with the Malaysian Alister Yoong ahead of the Indian Vignash Kadrabad. The two, divided by only 111 thousandths, qualified ahead of Davide Uboldi, 2022 runner-up who will be joined in the third row of the grid by the Swede Emil Hellberg. Michele Fattorini and Pietro Ferri are on the fourth line for the match which will start at 5:30pm and which will be broadcast live by ACI Sport TV on Sky channel 228, while the Top-10 is closed by the Englishman Jesse Menczer and Manuel Deodati.
