The Campionato Italiano Sport Prototipi race 1 grid sees changing positions. Davide Uboldi was penalized after the qualifying session for overtaking a car in the last sector while red flags were out.

The race direction declared that the driver from Como didn’t follow the marshalls’ instructions as the red flags were out at turn 6, overtaking Vignesh Kadarabad at less than three minutes to the end of the session. Uboldi still maintains the additional point - as he was the fastest - but will start from the second row.

The starting grid will see Matteo Roccadelli, on pole for the second consecutive time, next to Kadarabad, while Uboldi will see Jesse Menczer start next to him.
