Emil Hellberg was the fastest driver in the second free practice session at the Autodromo Internazionale del Mugello: the Swede, second in the championship standings and Matteo Roccadelli’s main rival for the title, completed the fastest lap in 1:47.023 and replicated this morning’s result. The session was pretty quiet, with the Bad Wolves driver proving to be at ease on the Tuscanian track. Davide Uboldi was just behind with a 0.977s gap. Therefore, Emil will be one of the qualifying protagonists, where a new driver will snatch the pole position, as Roccadelli is the only driver who actually managed to do so during the season but will have to serve an eight-position penalty during the first race.

Third was Linus Hellberg, first during the central phase of the session but third in the end.  Fourth was Alister Yoong, winner for the first time of the season in Monza. Fifth was Pietro Ferri (Emotion Motorsport) ahead of Jesse Menczer, sixth at the end of the 25-minute session. Seventh was Matteo Roccadelli, while Giovanni Mazza (Emotion Motorsport) completed the first few laps of his weekend finishing eighth. Donald Milokanovic was ninth, with the Croatian driver at the end of the timing sheets.

Friday’s schedule sees the qualifying round starting at 16:55. The two races will go underway on Saturday, September 30, at 14:40 and on Sunday, October 1st, at 9:00. Both will be streamed live on the YouTube and Facebook channels of the Campionato Italiano Sport Prototipi. Race-1 will be broadcast with a slight delay on ACI Sport TV, channel 228 on Sky, while race-2 will be live.

Admission to the grandstands is free for Friday, while tickets for the rest of the weekend are available on TicketOne at the following link:  https://www.ticketone.it/artist/aci-racing-weekend
