Race-1’s results change in Mugello. The race direction decided to disqualify Alister Yoong’s car due to a Grade B non-conformity. The Malaysian, third at the finish line, was disqualified as he didn’t comply to the Article 15.1.2 of the CISP 2023 Technical Regulations: he had an amount of gasoline in the tank of 2.3L, not equal to the at least 3L as stipulated.

On the podium, behind Davide Uboldi and Matteo Roccadelli (BHK Motorsport), steps Pietro Ferri to complete the first fully Italian podium of the 2023 season. Ranked, albeit five laps behind, Emil Hellberg recovered seventh position and the corresponding championship points. Penalized on the starting grid of Race 2 will be his brother Linus, as he had a contact with Jesse Menczer at the start of Saturday’s race.

The Campionato Italiano Sport Prototipi has still one race to go, scheduled for Sunday, October 1st, at 9:00. The second race of the weekend will be streamed live both on ACI Sport TV, channel 228 on Sky and 52 on Tivùsat, and on the Facebook and YouTube channels of the championship.

Admission to the grandstands is free for Friday, while tickets for the rest of the weekend are available on TicketOne at the following link:  https://www.ticketone.it/artist/aci-racing-weekend
