DOUBLE POLE POSITION START FOR LANCE STROLL. Confirmations and surprises came from the two qualifying sessions held at the circuit Enzo e Dino Ferrari of Imola: the Canadian Lance Stroll and the French Brandon Maisano posted this morning the two quickest laps. The Pole Position Prize by WSK Promotion was won twice by Stroll, as the two Prema Power Team's drivers ended the two session in the same order. The quickest time was set by the Canadian in 1'47''157 during the first session. Higher track temperatures did not allow faster times than those posted yesterday in free practice. The difference is therefore that Stroll has been quickest than his team mate Maisano, who set a quickest time of 1'47"290 in the second session. The pole position start of Race 1, scheduled for this afternoon at local 17:30hrs, does not safeguard the North American as his rivals are quite strong too: the third time was set by Ivan Matveev (SMP Racing), who will be ready to start today's race from the second row, behind Stroll and Maisano. Alongside the Russian, Mattia Drudi (F&M) who will try to have a say in the fight for the victory .
