First qualifying sessions of the 2015 season: pole position for Ralf Aron and Guan Yu Zhou

Real strengths are shown in the first qualifying sessions of the 2015 Championship.

Rome, 02/05/2015 – First qualifying sessions of the 2015 season for the Italian F.4 Championship Powered by Abarth. As for the Championship rules, sessions are 2, the first valid for the starting grid of race 1, and the second for starting grid of race 3. The starting order of race 2 is instead determined by the results of race 1 with the first ten drivers inverted in the order.

In the first qualifying session, it is the driver from Estonia, Ralf Aron (Prema Power Team) to obtain pole with 1'34.144. Followers are the Cinese Guan Yu Zhou, still with Prema, second with 1'34.370 and third the Brazilian Joao Vieira (Antonelli Motorsport) with 1'34.390.

In the second session lap time differences are minimal among the first, confirming the strong competition in the Championship. Guan Yu Zhou conquers pole position with 1'34.158, followed with only 32 thousands of delay by Vieira, while the German of Muecke Motorsport, David Alexander Beckmann, is third with 1'34.215. Aron is only fourth, but only 2 thousands away from the third.

Race 1, 28' plus 1 lap, is going to be ran with start this afternoon at 14:10.
