Beganovic, Edgar and Crawford in pole

Qualifying for the Italian F4 Championship powered by Abarth starts on a track with asphalt at 35 ° C, slightly hazy sky and wind at 12 kph. After some not particularly effective free practices, the Swede of Prema, Dino Beganovic, with 1: 45.168 wins the pole of race 1, followed by the American Jack Crawford of the VAR and in the Red Bull Junior Team program (1: 45.188) and the team comapgno, also in the Red Bull Junior Team, the English Jonny Edgar (1: 45.203).

In the second session, the highly anticipated Jonny Edgar sets the best time in qualifying with 1: 44.746. Behind him Jack Crawford, with 1: 44.941. Third Andrea Rosso, Cram Motorsport, with 1: 45.193.

The first qualifying session is also the one that assigns the best second times overall with pole of race 3 conquered by Crawfort with 1: 45.394m followed by Edgar (1: 45.415) and Rosso (1: 45.635).
