In wet track conditions in the morning free practice, the American sets the best time, with the Sicilian behind him, who sets the best time on a dry track in the afternoon. In the second session the dry track brings the drivers' performances in line with the championship standings, where the three Italians in the first three positions, Minì, Francesco Pizzi (Van Amersfoort Racing) and Andrea Rosso (Cram Motorsport) are placed in similar positions in the PL2 standings (1: 48.228 - 1: 48.396 - 1: 48.402).

In fourth position Jonny Edgar, winner of the German championship, but who in the very crowded Italian championship was not able, in the races in which he participated, to be particularly effective. Fifth and still among the fastest Kirill Smal, while sixth, 608 thousandths behind the lead, is Joshua Duerksen (BWT Muecke Motorsport).

Rain is not expected tomorrow, so it seems that the forces on the field will be those seen in PL2, but the track will certainly be more rubbered in and the conditions in qualifying that will start at 10.45 could hold some surprises.
