Bearman leads the free practices at Vallelunga

The British driver, the championship leader, set the best time in free practices ahead of Tramnitz and Smal.

Qualifying for the pole position will be a matter of hundredths in Vallelunga. After yesterday’s collective tests, also this morning’s the free practices, the Italian F.4 Championship Powered by Abarth Certified by FIA drivers’ gaps were minimal with 21 drivers enclosed in less than a second. Oliver Bearman (Van Amersfoort Racing) puts his Tatuus ahead of the others in the classification, setting the time of 1’33.355, followed at 191 thousandths by the German driver Tim Tramnitz (US Racing) who, in turn, put 85 thousandths behind Kirill Smal (Prema Powerteam). Closing the virtual second row, after the free practice, is Joshua Dufek (Van Amersfoort Racing) who preceded the rookie Charlie Wurz, immediately very competitive with the Tatuus of Prema Powerteam, able to keep behind him, by only 8 thousandths, his teammate Sebastian Montoya. Joshua Durksen (BWT Muecke Motorsport), Bence Valint (Van Amersfoort Racing), Han Cenyu (Van Amersfoort Racing) and Leonardo Fornaroli (Iron Lynx) close the free practice top 10.
