Overcast sky and temperatures around 14 degrees on the track of Le Castellet during the first qualification session of the eight season of the F.4 Championship Powered by Abarth Certified by FIA. The Russian Kirill Smal by Prema Powerteam placed behind his back the others with a lap closed in 2’04’’095 during the final stage of the session. Next to the Russian, in race 1, will start Tim Tramnitz (US Racing), 135 thousandths of a second behind the leader. Second row for Oliver Bearman (Van Amersfoort Racing) and for the Danish Conrad Laursen by Prema, first among the rookies. Third row signed by US Racing with Vlad Lomko and Luke Browning, who got the better of the Italian Leonardo Fornaroli (Iron Lynx) and Sebastian Montoya (Prema Powerteam). Even in the first session of qualifications the first 13 drivers were enclosed in less than 1 second and 29 drivers had been under a gap of 2 seconds.

Similar situation also during the second session of qualification, 12 drivers enclosed in less than one second. But having 37 single-seaters on track, the traffic has put in a difficult position the drivers of the tricolour F.4 series. Oliver Bearman demolished the barrier of 2’03’’ closing his lap in 2’02’’999 and leaving behind the German Luke Tramnitz for 435 thousandths of a second.  Luke Browning and Sebastian Montoya will start from the second row in race 2, while the poleman from race 1, Smal, will start from the fifth position in front of Lomko and the rookies couple composed of Nikita Bedrin (Van Amersfoort Racing) and Conrad Laursen (Prema powerteam). Leonardo Fornaroli (Iron Lynx) and Victor Bernier (R-ACE GP) close the top ten of the second session of qualifications.
