Pedro Perino, Portuguese Mozambique driver, will join US Racing lineup in the Italian F4 Championship certified by FIA 2022.

Born in 2005, the driver is no completely new addition to the team, he already raced under the German team’s colors in the last rounds of the last season. With his best result being the top 10 he reached in Red Bull Ring race 3, in his debut rounds as a Rookie in the series, he convinced the team with a solid performance all along, closing the year with three 15th positions in Monza.   

US Racing decided this year to sign again the talented driver, assuring him a seat since the beginning of the season.  

 “Last year, I’ve been driving for US Racing for the last three rounds of the Italian Formula 4 Championship. I am very happy that we will continue to work together in this year’s Formula 4 season. I feel very comfortable with the Team and want to develop myself as a professional race driver. During the winter break, I worked a lot to prepare for the season and the new Formula 4 car. I am now very excited for the pre-season tests and the season opener in Imola”, explains the 16 -year-old.

Gerhard Ungar: “I am very happy that Pedro will be part of US Racing again for the Formula 4 season this year. Last year he did a very good job in his Rookie season, I am sure he will implement what he learned in his first season and we will see some good races from him.”

Ralf Schumacher: “We are happy that Pedro is continuing with US Racing for a second year in the Italian F4 Championship and I am sure we will see some good Highlights from Pedro”.

Perino will join the previously announced teammates, Marcus Amand and Nihil Bohra.
