Georgis Markogiannis will be back under the Cram Motorsport banner for the 2022 Italian Formula 4 Championship. The 17-year-old Greek driver has had a strong relationship with Cram so far in his career. He made his single-seater debut with the Como-based squad in 2020 In the Italian F4 event at Red Bull Ring.

Markogiannis was back into action at Monza 2020 before entering five 2021 rounds at Le Castellet, Vallelunga, Imola, Red Bull Ring, and Monza. His growth so far has been impressive and he even got close to the overall top-10 on the Austrian venue, only one year after his debut.

In 2022, he will be facing a new challenge with the introduction of the second-generation Formula 4 car, which will be more powerful compared to the previous one and will be upgraded to the most recent FIA Standards featuring the Halo system and side intrusion panels.

Gabriele Rosei, Team Manager: “Georgis grew up a lot in the last couple of seasons and he has now a valuable amount of experience, so I'm sure he will be able to quickly adapt to the new car. The Italian Formula 4 Championship is one of the most competitive in motorsports but I think we have what we need to get some great satisfaction”.
