Second session of the day on the track, again on a wet track but with the rain that gives a respite to the second generation Tatuus F.4 T421 that dart on the track of the Autodromo Enzo and Dino Ferrari in Imola.

Longer session this time, with some shorter breaks to clean the track after Giovanni Maschio, AS Motorsport, slips and puts the wheels in the sand in T6. Again, the fastest lap goes to Andrea Kimi Antonelli (2:00.408): "I have a lot of fun in the rain, but it's the first time on this circuit, I'd like to try it also in the dry, let's hope that weather conditions can improve during the weekend" commented the Prema Racing driver born in Bologna.

Also from the same team are the two that followed him: Rafael Camara and Anthony James Wharton. Same trio of the morning collective tests session, with P2 and P3 that this time are reversed and shorten the distance from the leader, both at 8 tenths.

Fourth and fifth best time in practice for two of the four PHM Racing drivers in the race, the 2021 Rookie Champion Nikita Bedrin and Taylor Barnard.

Good session also to US Racing, with Marcus Amand, while the gaps begin to increase, with many drivers still working to make the most of the sessions of the first day to find the right set-up in a weekend that promises to be wet.

Tomorrow, Saturday, May 7, qualifying at 9.00 and 9.25 in two 15' sessions, then race 1 (30' +1 lap) at 14.55. Sunday, May 8, race 2 at 10.30 am, then the weekend will end with race 3 at 5.30 pm. The races will be broadcast live on ACI Sport TV and in streaming on the facebook and youtube channels of the Championship.
