After the long summer break, the Italian F4 Championship returns to the track this weekend at the Austrian Red Bull Ring circuit to face the fifth of seven rounds of a season that is about to enter its final phase.

On the ups and downs of Styria, the AKM Motorsport team will again be present with Valerio Rinicella and Ismail Akhmed, both intent on collecting as much as possible after gaining experience in previous rounds.

For the Italian it will be his third appearance, having made his debut in the Italian series at the Spa-Francorchamps round last June. A crescendo start for the Lazio driver, who in the next round at Vallelunga, on his home track, in the last of the three races on the program achieved a best of 14th place out of a total of 37 cars on the track and eighth among the Rookies in Race 2.

It was also a growing season for Akhmed, who continues his apprenticeship in the series step by step.

Today qualifying 1 and 2 scheduled to start at 14:15, with the green light for Race 1 on Saturday at 9:10 and the start of Race 2 at 14:45. Race 3, also lasting 25 minutes plus one lap, will start Sunday at 10:35. A fourth race is also scheduled, but it is reserved only for drivers who accumulate the most points during the first three.
