REMA Racing will return to Monza this weekend for the penultimate round of the Italian Formula 4 Championship with a five-car lineup. The goal will be to continue a successful season that has so far seen 11 victories in the first six rounds. With high performance across the board, PREMA is ready to meet the challenge, as the fast Grand Prix circuit presents many variables, such as high speeds that require intense wake, racing technique and track positioning.

Leading the driver and rookie points standings is 16-year-old Italian Andrea Kimi Antonelli, who recovered from a difficult debut race to score victories in Misano, Spa, Vallelunga and Red Bull Ring and left an excellent impression in the 2021 rain at Monza. Teammate Rafael Camâra follows him in the points with two wins and several podiums under his belt, and the 17-year-old Brazilian is looking forward to carrying the challenge through to the series finale at Mugello.

After earning their first European Formula 4 victories in the German championship, James Wharton and Conrad Laursen are aiming to break through in Italy as well, as is Formula 4 UAE champion Charlie Wurz, who came close to the same result.

After having to share the field in heat races in Austria, this time more than 40 cars will race together in Monza, adding even more excitement for fans and drivers.

Angelo Rosin, Team Principal: "Monza will be a great challenge. As a team, fielding so many cars is a demanding commitment, but I think we showed in the previous event that we can manage the situation and provide all our drivers with high support and potential. In addition, Monza will be exciting, with its typical, high-speed layout and 40 closely-matched competitors on track at the same time. Especially for rookies, managing the situation won't be an easy task. However, we feel we are helping them to prepare for the situation, and hopefully, there will be great chances for all of them throughout the weekend. We are leading the championship with chances to wrap it up this weekend and we will be pushing as hard as we can to achieve that result."
