Charlie Wurz sets best lap in Free Practice 2, Camara maintains the best overall result of the day

Prema Racing's Austrian driver is second in the aggregate ranking of the two sessions

The day dedicated to free practice of the Italian F.4 Championship certified by FIA in Monza is over. In today's second session, it is the Austrian of the team Prema Racing the one who sets the best lap with 1'53.041, thus obtaining the second best time of the day. In fact, Camara's lap (1'53.007), recorded in Friday's first free practice session, remains the best one of the day.

Andrea Kimi Antonelli (Prema Racing) is second in FP2, with a gap of +0.356, followed by Kacper Sztuka. The Pole of US Racing is still very fast, with a gap of +0.409 from Wurz. P4 in practice for Martinius Stenshorne, Norwegian of Van Amersfoort Racing (+0.422). P5 for Alexander Dunne, US Racing (+0.483), followed on thousandths by Prema Racing's Australian James Wharton (+0.486). Seventh best lap in the session for Valentin Kluss (+0.546), German Rookie of the Jenzer Motorsport team, while finishing eighth was Pedro Perino (+0.788), US Racing driver. Rounding out the top 10 is Italian driver Brando Badoer, Van Amersfoort Racing, who shares the best lap with Hadrien David, R-ace GP, (+0.793).

Now time for the teams' optimizations of the cars, based on the extensive data collected over the two days, with collective test on Thursday and free practices today, in order to be ready for qualifying tomorrow morning.

 

The qualifying sessions will be held in the morning of Saturday, Oct. 8 (8:30-8:45 and 8:55-9:10). Still Saturday will be race 1, starting at 15:10 (30 minutes + 1 lap). Sunday, Oct. 9, will start again in the morning with race 2 at 9:10 (30 minutes + 1 lap); then the last race of the weekend at 17:10 (30 minutes + 1 lap). All races of the weekend will be broadcast live on ACI Sport TV, Motorsport.tv, and on the Youtube and Facebook channels of the Italian F.4 Championship.
