Ugo Ugochukwu set the pace before the start of the weekend

PREMA Racing's American is the fastest on track at Misano World Circuit on the day dedicated to collective tests before the weekend

Before the ACI Racing Weekend at Misano World Circuit kicks off from tomorrow, the Italian F.4 Championship drivers have already taken to the track on Thursday for 2 collective test sessions lasting 2 hours each. On the track of the Riviera Romagnola, the cars raced in the dry under the sun, ceased the rains that have ravaged the region in recent days. In the morning, Brando Badoer, Italian driver of Van Amersfoort Racing, sets the best time, but is then bested in the afternoon session by the American of Prema Racing. Junior McLaren driver Ugo Ugochukwu set the best time of the day in the afternoon with a 1'34.689 lap. His teammate, Red Bull junior driver and current championship leader, Arvid Lindblad followed him with a reduced gap of only 0.031. The time recorded by Badoer in the morning still stands as the third best lap of the day, with a gap of +0.066.

The weekend schedule includes 3 races of 30 minutes + 1 lap, but before the official start of hostilities on the track, it will be the turn of the free practice sessions on Friday, May 5, in two 40' sessions starting at 8:40 and 11:55. Already on Friday evening, qualifying, on track in two 15' sessions interspersed with a ten-minute break, will start at 17:45. Saturday, May 6 will be an exciting day, with two races on track.
