Ugo Ugochukwu sets the fastest time of the practice sessions

The best lap of the day came at the end of the second session. Qualifying will take place later this evening

The opportunities to fine-tune the setup for the weekend ahead of the qualifying session this evening and the three races have at Autodromo Nazionale Monza came to an end with the conclusion of the second practice session. The track temperature during the second session is considerably higher than in the morning, reaching 42 degrees Celsius. Setting the benchmark time is PREMA Racing driver Ugo Ugochukwu, who recorded the fastest time of the day with a lap time of 1'52.873. The best lap arrived on the last of the completed laps before the session is interrupted by a red flag shortly before the scheduled end. In second place was Italian driver Brando Badoer from Van Amersfoort Racing, just 0.048 seconds behind. Continuing his impressive pace, Australian driver James Wharton of Prema Racing took third place, +0.181 behind. Fourth place went to the fastest of the US Racing drivers, Polish driver Kacper Sztuka, with a gap of 0.182, just one-thousandth of a second behind the Australian. Tuukka Taponen, the Finnish driver from Prema, closed the top 5 with a gap of 0.273. Portuguese driver Ivan Domingues from Van Amersfoort Racing achieved the sixth fastest time, 0.355 seconds behind, followed by Championship leader Arvid Lindblad from Team Prema Racing at 0.459. Eighth is Nicola Lacorte, also representing the Vicenza-based team, with a gap of 0.703, followed by his teammate Rashid Al Dhaheri, trailing by just 3 thousandths of second. The tenth fastest time was set by Akshay Bohra of US Racing, 0.905 seconds behind.

There were issues during the session for AKM Motorsport driver Tina Hausmann, who went off track at Parabolica, resulting in contact with the barriers. The driver is okay, but her session came to an early end.

This evening, the first official qualifying session will take place at Autodromo Nazionale Monza from 16:45 to 17:00, followed by the second session from 17:10 to 17:25.

On Saturday, June 24th, the first race of the weekend, lasting 30 minutes plus one lap, will start at 13:20. The remaining two races will take place on Sunday, June 25th, with Race 2 opening the Sunday program of the ACI Racing Weekend Monza at 8:40 (30 minutes plus one lap), followed by the final race at 14:20 (30 minutes plus one lap). 

All three races of the weekend will be broadcast live with English commentary on the Italian F.4 Championship's YouTube and Facebook pages, as well as on Motorsport TV (https://eu.motorsport.tv/).
