The 16-year-old Matheus Ferreira from Brazil will join US Racing in the Formula 4 season 2024 and will start in the Italian Formula 4 Championship and selected races of Formula Winter Series.

“I am so happy to finally announce that I will be driving for US Racing in the Formula 4 season 2024. The focus of my season will be the Italian Formula 4 Championship. I love working with the Team, as we did already a couple of Test days together that went pretty good. I now feel well prepared for the upcoming season opener next week in Jerez as part of the Formula Winter Series”, explains Ferreira.

Gerhard Ungar: “We watched Matheus already in last year’s Italian Formula 4 Championship. Matheus is a very talented, young driver with quite a good speed. What Matheus showed so far in the car, was really good and impressed me. I am sure, Matheus will be able to fight for the Championship this year”.
