AKM Motorsport is ready to return to the track this weekend at Imola, where the Italian F4 Championship faces the second round of the season. On the Santerno circuit, the San Marino team will triple its efforts by fielding an additional car for Wiktor Dobrzanski, who joins Emanuele Olivieri and Oleksandr Savinkov, both of whom made their debut in the Italian series at the Misano opener.

The 17-year-old Polish driver enters the Italian championship after experience in the Formula Winter and Spanish F4 and is set to make his first appearance with the team led by Marco Antonelli.

Looking back at Misano, Olivieri achieved the best seventh place finish among the rookies, having already made a mark by setting the third fastest time in both collective test sessions. The 15-year-old driver from Asti faced some difficulties in qualifying but generally showed good pace. Savinkov, his teammate, also completed many important kilometers in Romagna, managing to finish all three races.

Both Olivieri and Savinkov are already familiar with the Imola track, having participated in the pre-season tests held last March, where the Italian particularly impressed by setting the fastest time on the second of the three completed days.

As usual, there will be three races of the Italian F4 taking place this weekend. Friday will start with two free practice sessions. The two qualifying sessions will be held on Saturday, starting at 10:40 and 11:05, and will precede the first 30-minute plus one lap race which will start at 17:30. Race 2 and Race 3 will take place on Sunday at 9:00 and 15:30 respectively.

All three races will be streamed live on the Italian F4 Championship's YouTube and Facebook channels and broadcast live on ACI Sport TV.
