On a wet track, the fight for the title is resolved a few minutes after the start of the race with Arthur Leclerc going off the track and on the gravel in an attempt to recover positions from last position, after the unfortunate qualifying. The exit of Leclerc offers the title on a silver plate to Gianluca Petecof (Prema Powerteam), fourth on the finish line.

The start is launched after 3 laps behind the safety car given the very difficult conditions of the wet track. From pole position Oliver Rasmussen holds the lead of the race, while behind him shortly after Pasma loses second place in favor of Hauger first in Chovet then.

Fighting with Jamie Laura Chadwick, Gillian Henrion and Imidio Pesce, Arthur Leclerc manages to overtake the three in one shot, but then he pushes too much and on a very slippery track he spins, and then goes in the gravel, so the race of the Monegasque is finished together with the title that finally fades away. Arthur was certainly unfortunate, with qualifying relegating him to the last place in both races due to engine belt problems.

In the meantime, the positions settle down and Rasmussen continues to lead the group followed by Dennis Hauger, Pierre Louis Chovet and Gianluca Petecof. Rasmussen and Hauger stretch, while Chovet, third, is 3.2 seconds behind the leader.

In fifth position is Konsta Lappalainen, while behind him a battle between Chadwick and Pasma, the latter trying in every way to overtake the English driver, but without success.

Lappalainen is on Petecof in the last rounds, but the Brazilian, despite the title already in his pocket, defends himself well and maintains the fourth position.

The race classification does not change, and under the checkered flag Oliver Rasmussen passes first, ahead of Hauger, Chovet and the Formula Regional 2020 champion, Gianluca Petecof (Prema Motorsport).

Rasmussen reaches Leclerc in the overall standings, but is third for the lowest number of second places (same points and same number of wins).

"I'm super happy. I missed some tests in the middle of the season due to budget problems, while my opponents were testing. It made everything more difficult, but I thank God who helped me and I'm excited and thank everyone, my team, journalists and all the people working for this championship. Thank you! "
