Following the impressive results in the debut of the Finnish Rally Championship at Auto Sorsa Riihimäki-Ralli, where he secured the third position in the Rally4 class championship, Giovanni Trentin faces another challenge. The young ACI Team Italia driver, accompanied by Danilo Fappani in a Ford Fiesta Rally4 prepared by Lorenzon Racing, is gearing up for the Arctic Lapland Rally, the second event among the seven scheduled.

This marks the second sports season for the 17-year-old driver as a representative of the National Team. In the 2023 season, he clinched the Junior title in the Latvian Championship and secured the second position in Croatia in the major category at the Rally Show Santa Domenica, driving a Skoda Fabia Rally2.

This year, Trentin's agenda includes participation in all seven events of the Finnish series. He will proceed with the two-day Rovaniemi rally, featuring a challenging race program covering 773.01 kilometers, including approximately 200 timed kilometers on ice/snow. These are divided into twelve special stages that Trentin will tackle between Friday, February 2nd, and Saturday, February 3rd.

On the other hand, the other ACI Team Italia representative, Valentino Ledda, is expected to be absent and will resume his Finnish Rally Championship adventure at Tuuri Ralli on March 8th and 9th – the third round of the series – as per the schedule.
